Getting your copies done can be a daunting problem when you are miles from the nearest copy machine and only just have time to stop, pick up your copies and run to that big meeting. All the work is done, but it is just laying in the computer. 
Or worse yet, your printer just shut down on you and all your hard earned work is just sitting in that file.
